Welcome to Wildside Journeys, a new site bringing you immersive storytelling through written and multimedia articles, reflections, and reviews. This digital platform is the centrepiece of our community, and has been designed to celebrate stories of meaningful travel and exploration in all its forms.

From the philosophical and profound to the small and silly, these tales aim to delight, provoke, and motivate. From big international expeditions to everyday adventures, we hope to provide a space for all sorts of stories and ideas, from every part of the world.

Our hope is for Wildside Journeys to be a space to connect with likeminded people from around the world. As well as creating and curating celebratory stories of inspiring adventures, we also host online storytelling get-togethers, and occasionally our own adventure.

Following ten years working in expeditionary travel (Project Cordillera), Wildside is built on an enduring recognition that adventure can be a force for significant good in the world. In today’s climate, and in a future defined by adaptation and transformation, this feels more important than ever.

Inspired by countless evenings spent by the campfire, telling and retelling stories of the adventurous spirit, we believe - while we are living through times of uncertainty and transition - that adventure can help us all find imaginative and risk-aware responses to the needs of our age.

Moreover, we feel this need not be boring or overly serious. Our spirit of adventure is as old as our species, and we believe that by moving together, mindfully, and exploring collaboratively, adventure offers the world a profoundly fun form of cultural evolution that commits us to nature.
